Brazilian Immigrants in the UK

Official data of undocumented immigrants is unavailable and difficult to collate. A 2007 survey with 400 Brazilians estimated that 56% of those were living irregularly in the UK.

With the UK government progressively tightening control over immigration, the profile of Brazilian immigrants is changing from uneducated and low income, to university-educated and middle class. However, more research is needed on the subject as the data available is scarce and outdated.
