Vets practice wins big at Black Country business awards

By Charlotte Bentley

A West Midlands veterinary practice has won two black country awards for customer commitment and wellbeing at work.

Black Vets has five practices across the region, with a hospital practice in Dudley and other branches in Lye, Quinton, Oldbury and Sedgley.

The awards were part of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce business awards, which pitted them against numerous other businesses in the region.

Penelope Fox, Group Practice Manager, said: Clients know that we care about their pets. We keep them informed and give them options.

Everyone who works here is pet owners so they can put themselves in the client’s shoes and they know what it feels like when you have to make tough and sad decisions.

A lot of our staff have been with us for a long time. Some over thirty years. We’ve built up a great relationship.

Penelope said they are really happy and proud to have won the awards and it has proved they can be just as successful against other businesses, instead of just vets.

The awards took place last week at Wolverhampton Race Course.
